My wife and I moved to Clinton, Missouri in 1973. In the thirty plus years we have spent in this area, we have raised a son and a daughter. Both graduated from Clinton High School, and both went on to graduate from Central Missouri State. My wife has worked for Citizen's Union State Bank for many years, and during our time here, we have met many good people from all around the Clinton area, and made many friends.

In 1975 I began a remodeling business that continued until 1987, when I went to work for Herrman Lumber here in Clinton. I helped start, and for about 2-1/2 years, hosted a call-in talk radio show sponsored by Herrman Lumber, in Springfield, Missouri. The show, 'Home Repairs and Solutions', was carried on KWTO, AM560 radio, each Thursday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This show was part of the radio station's 'Ask the Professionals' series, and was one of their most popular shows. I enjoyed helping people solve their everyday challenges on the radio, in maintaining their home, and also in helping them plan for future projects. And I continue to do that today in my remodeling business, every day.

From 1999 to 2001 I was manager for Herrman Lumber in Lebanon, Missouri. We moved back to Clinton in 2001, because we finally realized it was WAY too far from our family and friends. We underestimated what we really valued in life...we are GLAD to be back!

In April of 2003, I quit Herrman Lumber, and re-started my remodeling business I left 16 years before.

My experience as a Remodeling Contractor, and working in the Building Material business, has given me a unique combination of skills, and knowledge, to give you extra value for the hard earned dollars you spend in your building projects.

While there are many projects you can do yourself, there are those that affect safety and health that you should not attempt. There are even projects that will cost you much more if you do them yourself than if you hired a Pro! While you will be learning how to do a project, the Pro has already learned from his mistakes, and has the equipment to safely and easily accomplish your project.

Your savings from a Pro should be in the quality and appropriate material for the job at hand, and the school-of-hard-knocks experience to give you the longest-lasting job for your hard-earned money! Almost all of the time, you will save time AND money, if you will take advantage of the experience a Pro will bring to the project you need done!

I really enjoy the Remodeling and Repair business, and look forward to helping you with your project...give me a call soon!
